When our MWD Field Client 1.0 software is first installed on the computer, a Job Files folder is automatically generated on the desktop along with the launch icon. Each .PDF generated will easily be found here.
Upon launching the software, the first thing you see will be the Coversheet. This where each new job begins...
All data such as the customer and location, well site, personnel, wall platt, target proposals, and tie in information is entered on the cover sheet at the beginning of each job. Once done, with the click of a button the first daily report is generated.
If you don't want to start a new job, but instead need to continue or review a past job you will find a Previous Jobs button on the Coversheet. Every job run on the computer is automatically backed up to a database file and can be loaded at any time. These database files can also be pre-loaded and emailed out to a user from the coordinators office, or visa verso.
On the Coversheet you will find an Email Settings button. Here you can enter the office email address and your email address. This will allow one click of the email button on the daily report pages to automatically .PDF the daily report, attach it to an email, and send it to your office.
The Daily Report pages will allow you to record daily operational details, track mwd tool hours, maintain a BHA, and log other daily drilling and rig parameters.
On the Daily Report sheet you will see a set of buttons. This is where you will create new days, start and end runs and jobs. Clicking the PDF button will automatically save a .pdf version of the daily to the Job Files folder on the desktop. The Email button will email a .pdf of the daily report to you office with one click. The Failure button generates a failure report with all of the current tool, rig, and drilling parameters included. The Add A Survey button will take you to the Surveys sheet for new surveys to be entered.
The Survey Sheet can display polar and vector coordinates. It can also export survey sheets in CSV, Excel, and PDF formats.
The Run Data Sheet provides an overview of run information, drilling parameters, and other job data such as total circulating hours, total footage, total days on the job, etc.
